So let’s see what this week’s numbers say about Digital Advertising, shall we?

  • As predicted by eMarketer’s report, by 2024 the US Ecommerce channel Ad spend will be valued in $41.33 billion.
  • Marketing Charts’ study shows that, in 2020, ad spend from alcohol brands decreased 11.6% year-over-year to $6.7 billion. The same study explains that this year, alcohol ad spend is expected to grow by 5.3% y-o-y to reach $7 billion.
  • Marketing Charts survey to smartphone owners shows that half of respondents said they had used online search to look up information about an out-of-home Ad.
  • According to AdExchanger’s article, the Canadian demand-side platform AcuityAds was valued at $600 million after US IPO.
