  • Ellon Musk again offered to buy Twitter.  He wants to replicate China’s WeChat in the US. The super app is extremely popular in its home country and is expected to reach 820.2 million users this year, meaning 58.2% of the population, according to Insider Intelligence forecasts.
  • The first half of 2022 around the globe, has shown steady results for video ad viewability across most devices, with one exception, being mobile app video, which has improved considerably from 78.0% to 83.7%. Read more in the latest Media Quality report.
  •  Sustainable marketing? A new study from Good-Loop finds that almost 9 in 10 digital marketers in the US believe that the digital advertising industry has a responsibility to reduce carbon emissions. More than 8 in 10 consumers around the world claim they would be more likely to buy from a company that practices sustainable advertising, and surprisingly 61% of the respondents know that experiencing an ad has a negative impact on the planet.
